Houses is a PhD student at Southern Methodist University studying atmospheric geophysics with a side of seismology. Her particular emphasis is on infrasound and its military and academic applications.

She has been writing for as long as she can remember, but only ventured into fanfic after stumbling onto the Alternate Universe - Babyverse in Spring 2002.

She found herself possessed by an overwhelming and atypical desire to participate, and did so, and as a result, was led by her enjoyment of writing to a wider variety of fandoms.

Able to turn her writing hand and imagination to just about anything her muse supplies her with, Houses now writes crossover fanfiction in various fandoms.
